ODDSLIGA - RULES

THE LEAGUE

The Oddsliga system is built up as a league system. When you register for the competition, you will be placed in a Division. The best players will play in the top division, called Division A. Below division A, we will find divisions alphabetically; B, C and so on. The number of divisions will depend on the number of participants in the Oddsliga in total. To climb in the league system you must finish in the TOP 10 in your division. You will then be promoted to the league above your current league. If you are among the bottom 10 in your division, you will be relegated, and play next season in the division below your current division.

SEASON

The league is played as seasons. One season will last 5-6 weeks from start to finish. Every season consists of 6 tipping rounds.

ROUNDS

As said, a season consists of 6 tipping rounds. A tipping round consists of 12 sportsevents. Mostly soccergames. All games have three possible outcomes; Home, Draw and Away. You can pick ONE of the alternatives for each game. In each tipping round you must fill out a tipping coupon, which is available to you when you have registered and logged in. Every time a new tipping coupon is released, you will get an email notice.

POINTS

For every game you will receive points. If you have tipped incorrect, you receive 0 points. If you tip correctly, you will receive the number of points you see in brackets behind the outcome you tip. Like this:

GAME: Hull - Aston Villa    Home win (340) Draw (325) Away win (210)

If you tip away win in this game and the away team Aston Villa wins, you will receive 210 points! If Aston Villa does not win you get 0 points.

MISSED ROUND

If you fail to deliver your tips for one or more rounds, you will get 0 points for that round.

PROMOTION / RELEGATION

The top 10 players in all divisions will be promoted to the league above their current league at the end of the season. If you play in Division C, and finish in the top 10, you will play in Division B the next season. If you finish among the bottom 10, you will be relegated to the division below.

NON-CONTESTANTS

Members of the Oddsliga that do not deliver tips for any rounds, will be relegated to the lowest possible division for next season. The reason for this is that these contestants are considered non active.
